The Introduction
So after the 2000 km trip from Melbourne to Brisbane, Aurelia has arrived at her latest residence. I was very surprised how well she handled the long drive in less than 48 hours with no issues at all. Once here I have now assessed the cosmetic issues and some electrical/mechanical observations.
The paintwork is not the best and will be dealt with down the track, however after closer examination there at least appears to be no rust.
The wheels seem in good nick, if just a bit dirty and the passenger rear tyre is probably due for replacement soon while the other three are fine. Still has the original space saver tyre in the boot with all the jack items from new and even the parcel shelf though faded is fully functional. She is missing the middle rear headrest and the passengers airbag panel is warped/loose, while the centre console/armrest needs fixing.
I know not the same wheel, but it also came up a treat. |
I think there is a bit of the original unfaded colour there and it's not the pink bit. |
Who's going to sit in the back anyway. |
Now for a decent clean and find out if there are any other things I may have missed.
